Spirits are high among the Bearcat faithful despite the loss Friday night...because of the mental focus, effort and intensity exhibited by the Bearcats...and the enthusiasm displayed by the student body and the fans...
If we can maintain and improve upon our effort a glorious season can be ours...
Maintaining and improving is not a given...it will require mental discipline and continued hard work each week by our guys...should our guys allow themselves to get distracted ( a real danger during HC week) and not take winning the next game seriously...well we only have to remember the lesson of last year's Richwood game to know what can happen...
One's Homecoming game is a big deal...our guys must maintain and surpass the level of play shown last Friday...because no team wants to be remembered as the team that lost their homecoming game...Sulphur will be remembering the loss they suffered last year at home at the hands of the Bearcats...I have no doubt they will want to avenge that loss...they will be ready to play...
Are the Bearcats for real or was the memorable performance last Friday a flash in the pan...Only our guys can answer that question and we will learn their answer this Friday...
