Woodlawn has an 8 & 2 record. Final season poll had them at # 13. They won their district 7 - 0. We need a huge crowd to head to Baton Rouge on Friday.
There is nothing like the excitement of a Bearcat Playoff Road Trip. The team is having a send off at the stadium at 9:00 a.m. Friday and plan to be on the road by 9:30 a.m. They plan to head first to LSU for a stretch and walk through and then to a local Pica-dilly for a pre-game meal around 3:00 p.m. They plan to be at the stadium around 5 p.m. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.
You are invited to join a group of Bearcat supporters gathering at Trinity Church parking lot at 10:00 a.m. for caravan departure. Woodlawn is not far from the Mall of Louisiana. Our group's plan is to head down and arrive in Baton Rouge shortly after 2 p.m. and go by the Mall for a couple of hours before gathering across the street from the Mall around 4:30 at the Ralph & Kacoos restaurant for our pre- game meal. Following dinner we will head out to the game and hopefully be their in support of the team when they take the field for pre-game warmups. Sound like fun? If so, come on and join us. Let's let Baton Rouge and the Woodlawn fans know...Ruston supports our Bearcats.
